Teacher Librarian Courses: ASLA maintains a list of courses for teacher librarianship across Australia

For Teachers (DECS)

Teachers who are employed by the Department of Education and Children’s Services and would like to become qualified teacher librarians are encouraged to apply for funding to meet the costs of accredited study at university level. This includes graduate diploma or graduate certificate level, but not masters level. The scheme supports teachers prepared to undertake library positions inn a country district where there is a need for a qualified teacher librarian. Funding is available for HECS scholarships.
