Using Digital Resources in schools

Held on Monday 25 August 2008 at the Education Development Centre (EDC) Milner Street, Hindmarsh.

e-pd: learning with Web 2.0 workshops

Saturday 19 July 2008 and Saturday 9 August 2008, 10:15am for coffee and workshop to begin at 10:30am at Eynesbury Senior College Library, 15-19 Franklin Street, Adelaide.
Session topics: Creating and sharing images online, Using wikis in education, Blogs and professional learning, Podcasts and RSS for teachers.

Australian Bureau of Statistics session

Held on Monday 16 June 2008at the Education Development Centre (EDC).
All about the resources available from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and how to use them with students.

SLASA Library Tours 2008

Held on Saturday 31 May 2008.
The venues were the Coventry Memorial (Public) Library at Stirling, Nairne Primary School and St Francis de Salle College at Mt Barker.
The Stirling Library is a newly built library. Nairne is a Primary School Library and St Francis de Salle is an R-12 Library.

ASLA Online III Virtual Conference - 2008

The ASLA Online III Virtual Conference — Under Construction: A World without Walls <http://www.asla.org.au/pd/online2008> was held from 5 to 26 May 2008.

Three strands were offered -

  • Digital environments: Designing and applying collaborative tools for learning
  • Digital literacy: Building and providing online literature experiences
  • Digital pedagogy: Crafting and exercising digital teaching and learning practices.
