The key to a great creative writing group is creativity.
But creative writing can be daunting. And when we focus too much on the writing and not enough on the creativity, students and educators can get stuck.
In this engaging and practical presentation, we’ll explore 3 steps to a better creative writing group. You’ll learn:
• The difference between writing and creating
• What gets in the way of creating
• The 3 steps to creative confidence
Jodie Benveniste is a psychologist, author, TEDx speaker and wellbeing specialist with over 25 years experience.
She specializes in helping young adults to overcome their blocks, doubts and fears so they can dream big, live large and love fully.
She writes YA contemporary fiction, hosts Hey Young Writers and collaborates on creative projects that place healing at the heart of storytelling.
Over her career, she’s been an organisational consultant, freelance writer, academic researcher, TEDx speaker, workshop facilitator, media commentator, brand ambassador, trusted advisor on government projects, Chair of the Board of an independent school and business owner.
