  Please join us for our first SLASA event for the year,

  "Planning your literary Calendar and Library Tour"

  Hear us talk about the literary events that you can incorporate into your school year, such as "Book Week", "Once upon a festival" and "Library Lovers Day". We will share ideas around displays for both junior and secondary schools, and give you merchandising tips on how to present your library from an experienced retailer.  

  The evening will also include a tour of

  St Ignatius College Library

  and supper.

  We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming dynamic and informative conference at our The Grand Chancellor Hotel in Adelaide, featuring Dr Margaret Merga, Dr Kaye Oddone, Megan Daley and Stephanie Smith from the Australian Media Literacy Alliance presenting Keynote presentations during our conference.

  This year's theme, "Plot Twist - From page to powerful thought", promises an exciting lineup of speakers and sessions covering a wide array of topics relevant to school libraries. From reading engagement, curating digital resources, preparing students for University and Information on AI, our conference has something for everyone. Whether you're looking to explore new initiatives or find practical solutions to keep your library engaging and useful, you'll find it here.

  Your registration includes morning and afternoon tea, and lunch. There is a Networking drinks event on Friday afternoon, and a Networking dinner Friday evening (self-funded).
